Bruce applies 20 years of high-tech marketing experience to client projects with an analytical focus that invariably gets to the root of the problem, allowing for highly focused solutions.
Bruce possesses a depth of marketing knowledge and a desire for understanding that results in exceptional deliverables for Rubicon clients. Bruce writes on business models and pricing & licensing issues, and clients see the impact of his deep knowledge and experience in market expansion, pricing and licensing design and optimization, and in helping companies define their mission.
Like the rest of the Rubicon team, Bruce is not a career consultant, but brings real-world experience from a long history in a variety of industries and marketing disciplines that span: software, hardware, financial services and material science.
His past responsibilities include Director of Industry Marketing for Docent (now SumTotal Systems), Director of Strategic Marketing & Business Development for the Internet Commerce Group at First Data Corporation, and a variety of product & service marketing, product management and partner management roles at Cornerstone Imaging, Farallon, and Raychem.
Bruce earned his MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and his BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College. He is also known to make a mean batch of blackberry jam.
